SpencerBANK Donates $2,000 to Abby’s House

Spencer, MA—SpencerBANK recently donated $2,000 to Abby’s House, a local organization that provides emergency shelter, affordable housing, and advocacy services to homeless women and children in Worcester County. This donation will benefit the organization’s Buy-A-Campaign, providing women and children a warm, safe place to sleep.

“We are pleased to support Abby’s House and their mission,” said K. Michael Robbins, president and CEO of SpencerBANK. “This donation will enable the organization to continue providing affordable housing, as well as a place to stay for women and children within Worcester County.” 

Since 1976, Abby’s House has provided nearly 12,000 women and children a safe place to stay, regroup, and rebuild. With 78 units, Abby’s House is the largest provider of affordable housing in Worcester and is designed to meet the needs of women and children in 60 cities and towns throughout Central Massachusetts.
