Sturbridge, MA – The Chamber of Central Mass South hosted its first in-person event since March of 2020 on the evening of June 24 at the Publick House Historic Inn in Sturbridge. Nearly two hundred guests attended the celebration which commemorated many of the moments we missed sharing together over the last 15 months and paid special tribute to our Local Covid Heroes who stepped up to keep our neighbors and friends safe during the pandemic crisis.
Nominated by Chamber members and selected by the Chamber’s Board of Directors, the following heroes were presented proclamations from local dignitaries and honored in a short film, which was shot on location at the various local businesses and premiered at the Chamber party. All of these local heroes are described as going above and beyond during the health emergency, dedicated, selfless and community-minded. For details on the awesome contributions made by these folks, you are invited to view the short film which can be accessed by visiting the Chamber’s facebook page at www.facebook.com/cmschamber.
