Hitchcock Academy Presents Sons of the American Revolution and Hitchcock’s Historical Connection to the Revolutionary War

Hitchcock Academy Presents Sons of the American Revolution and Hitchcock’s Historical Connection to the Revolutionary War

Join Hitchcock Academy for a free presentation on Saturday, September 25 at 10 am to learn about our area’s connections to the Revolutionary War.

There are almost 100 families listed in the Historical Celebration of the Town of Brimfield that originally also encompassed, Wales, Holland, Palmer and Monson and part of Warren. There are many descendants still living in this area who have a direct connection to the brave Patriots who fought in one way or another to make this country a great place to live in and raise families.

Using The Hitchcock family's participation in the settling of the Town of Brimfield and The Revolutionary War as an example Dave Hitchcock, of the Sons of the American Revolution, will help guide you to determine if your family has a connection to those brave Patriots. Hitchcock will also speak about the role that the Sons – and Daughters of the American Revolution organizations play in preserving this important history.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested for planning purposes but not required.
