ZOOM Instruction Tutorial
August 11th, 1 pm
At the Holland Community Center
40 Brimfield Rd, Holland
This is a free class to help people learn about the ZOOM app.
Have you felt left behind because you don’t know what zoom is or how to use it? Zoom is a computer-based application that allows you to see and hear others online. We will teach you basic tasks that will get you living your life virtually. You can talk on phones all day, but to be able to see a person’s expression, how they are dressed, and even eat lunch with them virtually is so helpful to us emotionally as human beings during this pandemic.
Taught by Brenda, if you want to learn how to use it for phone calls, conferences, virtual Bingo with the Center, or just to chat with friends & family, we can help. We will show you how to sign on, teach you lingo like Meeting ID and Passcode, learn how to get into a zoom meeting, how to mute your mic or your picture and more.
If you know how, please install zoom on your device before coming to class to save download time. If you can't figure it out, don't worry, we'll help.
Go to zoom.us to get started.
Please RSVP at 413-245-3163 or email CommunityCenter@HollandMA.org
Please have a charged computer, or tablet, as well as a mask. We ask that you wear your mask entering the building, and if you can’t keep a distance of 6 ft or more. The Center complies with all state mandated regulations in accordance with Covid-19 practices.
