Event Description

11:00-12:00 An Owl’s Dinner What kind of owls do we have here at Wells State Park? What do you think an owl eats for dinner? Do you know what an owl pellet is? These are some of the questions the Park Interpreter will answer, while you dissect an owl pellet. You may be surprised at what you find! Meet at the Pavilion across from the Nature Center. This program is geared to children 8 to 12, but everyone is welcome to join.

2:00-3:00pm Junior Rangers Gain more experience about nature that is found here at Well State Park. Program will include a hands on activity from the Junior Ranger Handbook. After completely activities in the book you can bring it back to the ranger and receive a patch! This program is open to kids from 8 to 12 years of age.
