Be Part of the UN at our Mock United Nations Debate
At Tantasqua High School on United Nations Day
Thursday, October 24th, 2019 from 2:15 pm – 5:00 pm
The Tantasqua High School Model United Nations (MUN) club is seeking participates to join in an Intergenerational debate. The topic of debate will be centered on the needs of the AGING population. What is it like to age in different countries? Are people worried about HEALTHCARE, HOUSING, TRANSPORATION, or something we take for granted every day, WATER?
Intergenerational MUN is a fascinating opportunity for students as well as adults of all ages to see what all countries are going through, and to develop more empathy for everyone. Student & center participants will team up as “co-delegates” to represent a country, and many centers have been invited to participate. Together you and your partner will work to represent a country position based on the country background information provided to you.
We are asking for RSVP’s as soon as possible so students can be paired with adults ahead of time. Please email Amanda Hellyar at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in participating.
