The Joshua Hyde Library in Sturbridge will be holding a fall program providing a fun introduction to public speaking and an opportunity to learn some new communication skills. The program will be facilitated by Bob Barnes, ACS, ALB of Village Toastmasters who will be joined by other club members. Topics include but are not limited to speech organization, impromptu speaking, vocal variety, and effective speech evaluations. The program will be hands-on with opportunities to practice in a friendly environment.
The class will be offered on 4 Tuesday evenings (10/16, 10/23, 11/6, and 11/13) from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. There will be a nominal charge of $ 6.00 to cover materials.
