Event Description

Join us Wednesday, September 21st- the 78th anniversary of the hurricane- for dinner with Stephen Long, author of Thirty-Eight: The Hurricane That Transformed New England.  

"Without warning, the storm plowed into Long Island and New England, killing hundreds of people and destroying roads, bridges, dams, and buildings that stood in its path.  The hurricane then raced inland to Vermont and New Hampshire, uprooting millions of acres of forest..."

Doors open at 6:00pm, cash bar and book signing.  Dinner at 7:15 followed by a presentation on the book by author Stephen Long.
