Tastefully JAMmin’ Adventure
Everyone enjoys hearing about a successful business that evolved from a simple concept. This story begins with two waiters who decided to sell their jam at a local Farmers’ Market. The door from the kitchen where the product was made led out to an expanse with a stone wall. Over the years the popularity of the specialty food delicacies led to the creation of a huge retail company with products available in stores nationwide, in catalogs and on the web. You guessed it! Consider this an invitation to participate in a culinary adventure to the headquarters of Stonewall Kitchen.
On Saturday, July 30, 2016, a coach bus will depart from the South Street parking lot of Harrington Hospital at 8:30 AM. Shortly after our arrival in York, Maine, the group will be ushered into the cooking school for a class with guest chefs. Instructions will highlight the steps of preparation for our luncheon appetizer, entree and dessert items. The all-inclusive cost for transportation, demonstration and meal is $65 pp. Seating is VERY limited, so it is advisable to submit the non-refundable amount promptly to avoid the JAM of being placed on a waiting list.
Checks can be endorsed to Harrington Hospital Auxiliary and mailed to Volunteer Services at 100 South
Street in Southbridge, MA 01550. Further details are available by calling 508-765-6473.
