On Friday, September 26 at noon, the Chamber of Central Mass South will present a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the official grand opening of Sturbridge Coffee Roasters in the Flat Iron Building at 210 Hamilton Street in Southbridge. All are invited to join in the celebration as we welcome the coffee shop and its new owners to the Chamber and our neighborhood. The ceremony will take place at noon sharp with dedications, proclamations from local dignitaries, and the ribbon cutting. Guests are welcome to stay and mingle, enjoy a free coffee and a slice of celebratory cake, meet the owners and staff, and learn more about the specialty roast process behind every cup of Sturbridge Coffee Roasters coffee.
New owners Elvis and Karen Dyer purchased the business in August and have put much effort into renovating, refinishing, painting, and installing new fixtures in the shop. They take great pride in roasting fine Arabica beans from around the world in their on-site roasting facility, then hand filling each bag of coffee to ensure freshness.
Open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sturbridge Coffee Roasters offers coffee to go by the cup and beans by the bag, as well as teas, hot chocolate, healthy smoothies and soon, Italian sodas. Breakfast and lunch are served and free Wi-Fi is available to all customers.
