Often our bar staff is asked the question…what local brews do you have on tap? Well, it’s hard to get more local than Rapscallion. In 2011, Rapscallion began brewing at Hyland Orchard just a few miles up the road from Cedar Street and the Duck. In 2013, Rapscallion assumed ownership and operation of Pioneer Brewery, maintaining brewing of Pioneer’s recipes and establishing a brick and mortar home for Rapscallion. With a rich tradition of recipes dating back decades and even centuries, like the 1898 Harvard Lager, Rapscallion maintains a local and eco-conscious focus with community at its core. The current line-up includes Honey, Larger, Blonde, and Black IPA. With tasty brews from Rapscallion and Chef Nick Faucher’s artful food pairings, the Duck beer dinners always make for a night to remember.
