The fireworks will be postponed to Saturday evening. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., one half-hour later than scheduled. Tickets purchased for Friday will be honored on Saturday evening. However, our Independence Day Celebration will continue as planned on the fourth.
Join us for an evening full of activities followed by 21st-century fireworks.
Gates open at 6:00pm with music, magic and more, followed by the fireworks at dusk.
For the safety and comfort of all guests, all coolers, bags, chairs, and backpacks will be subject to inspection at the point of admission.
Reading of the Declaration of Independence
Music, entertainment, games and contests, including pie-eating, sack races, and quoits (similar to horseshoes, popular in early New England)
Food, beverage and souvenir tents - including beer and wine
And of course, FIREWORKS!
The Countryside opens for fireworks seating at 7:30 p.m., with seating limited to designated areas.
Enjoy a dinner buffet at the Oliver Wight Tavern from 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (reservations required) or you are welcome to bring a picnic. Beer and wine are available for sale. (Alcoholic beverages may not be brought in.)
