Cooking with Rico: Sicilian-Style Cuisine
Thursday, July 24, 6:30pm at Avellino
Because of its location in the middle of the Mediterranean, Sicily has been a magnet for seafaring peoples since the dawn of time. The island has been ruled by the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Normans, and Spanish, all of whom have left their mark on the cuisine.
Today food and wine are some of Sicily’s main attractions. There’s also little doubt that if you enjoy Italian food, then you have already sampled food that has its origins in Sicily. So come along as Chef Rico shows you what cooking “Sicilian-style” means to him. As always, each course is paired with a specially chosen wine and each guest will take home recipe cards so they can recreate the dishes in their home kitchen.
This event is $55 per person with wine pairings, or $39 without.* Tax and gratuity are not included. Make your reservations now by calling Avellino at 508-347-2321.
