Cooking with Rico: Italy's Puglia Region

Some of the best traditional foods in Italy come from Puglia, the region in the heel of Italy’s “boot.” Puglia and capital Bari both have lots of fantastic ingredients to choose from—like chickpeas, homegrown herbs and spices, olive and olive oil, tomatoes, and, of course, fresh seafood. In this Cooking with Rico series, Chef Rico will demonstrate the deeply-rooted cucina povera tradition where cuisine tends to be simple and delicious, always relying on fresh ingredients.
As always, each course is accompanied by a specially chosen wine pairing. This event is $57 per person with wine pairings, or $47 without, tax and gratuity are not included.
