Cooking with Rico: Abruzzo Cuisine

In some ways, Abruzzese cuisine is the undiscovered treasure of Italian gastronomy. Abruzzese cooks are masters of turning simple ingredients into glorious feasts. They flavor their dishes with hot chili pepper, aromatic saffron, fruity olive oil. Spaghetti alla chitarra is often the preferred Abruzzese first course. In this Cooking with Rico series, Rico will demonstrate how with just a few regional ingredients, simple and marvelous Abruzzese Italian dishes can be prepared. As always, each course is accompanied by a specially chosen wine pairing. This event is $55 per person with wine pairings, or $45 without.*
