Turning ‘sustainability’ inward to thrive
WHAT: CBA speaker Michael Prager, "“Keys to Sustainability — Your Own”
WHERE: Oliver Wight Tavern, Old Sturbridge Village
WHEN: 7:15 a.m., June 27, 2014
Taking a broad view of sustainability encompasses not only the environment but most everyone’s individual choices, and there are selfish reasons to make some choices over others. Guest speaker Michael Prager will address “Keys to Sustainability — Your Own,” at the June 27 meeting of Community Business Associates.
Before becoming an author and professional speaker Mr. Prager was a newspaper journalist for 30 years, most of them at the Boston Globe and the Hartford Courant. His first book, “Fat Boy Thin Man,” is an inspirational story about his own personal choices leading to massive weight-loss and conversion to healthy living, and was a ranked seller on Amazon. He’s about to publish his second book, “It Matters.”
He, his wife Georgina, and his 4-year-old, Joseph, live in Arlington.
