CBA Meeting: "The Power of Compliments"

Delivering a compliment is a business and personal skill that Debby Hoffman Adair will explore as guest speaker for the March 23 meeting of Community Business Associates, the networking/referrals program of the Central Mass South Chamber of Commerce.

Her presentation is part of a CBA meeting that is open to members and guests at no charge, starting at 7:15 a.m. in Oliver Wight Tavern at Old Sturbridge Village.

A professional speaker and author for over 19 years, Ms. Hoffman Adair calls herself  a “serial entrepreneur” turned “solutionist,” helping individuals, businesses and organizations transform problems into opportunities  for  personal and professional empowerment.

Her topic, “The Power of Compliments,” derives from her similarly named book and will cover the importance of compliments, the types and skills involved and the best ways to deliver them. Her motto is “Positive action produces positive results!”

With business experience in advertising and membership development, she is owner of a membership-based organization helping women empower themselves and a founding member of Jigsaw Consulting of Amherst, N.H. She and her husband also conduct spiritual programs and retreats.

Community Business Associates offers business and professional visitors a way to make fruitful business contacts. Meetings adjourn at 8:30 a.m. and provide community news insights, focus topics and guest presentations. CBA is a networking program of the Central Mass South Chamber of Commerce.
