Hiring a Coach: A Help or Hindrance?
WHAT: Community Business Associates speaker Margo Chevers
WHERE: Oliver Wight Tavern, Old Sturbridge Village
WHEN: 7:15 a.m., July 26, 2013
Why would you want to hire a coach? There are as many reasons as there are particular situations, and it’s important to hire the right one for your needs, according to the featured speaker for the July 26 Community Business meeting.
“Did you know that you can expect a 5-to-1 return on your investment when you hire the right coach?” says Margo Chevers, author and speaker on professional development topics. “There are a lot of factors in hiring the right coach, and people need to evaluate the best fit for their personal or professional needs. That compassionate outside perspective has a big payback for those willing to accept it.”
Among the aspects of her address:
• Why to hire a coach
• How to hire a coach
• What to look for in a coach
• What to expect from a coach
• Types of coaches
Her past appearances before the networking and referrals group have focused on customer service and work attitudes. A coach and trainer, Ms. Chevers is president of the Wales-based Northeast Leadership Enterprise. She has authored several articles and two books, specializing in professional development programs on the infrastructure of customer service, sales, and goal achievement.
Her professional experience includes six years as a director of sales and marketing for two convention hotels in New England, real estate broker, property manager and college instructor in marketing and strategic planning.
Community Business Associates welcomes business and professional visitors to make fruitful business contacts along with hearing presenters and speakers. Guests may attend at no charge.
