“Going All Out,” a dynamic program on personal development, will be presented by speaker Dennis McCurdy at the May 27 meeting of Community Business Associates, the business networking group serving area communities.
The meeting in the Oliver Wight Tavern at Old Sturbridge Village begins at 7:15 a.m., and interested business and professional people are welcome as guests.
“There are four types of people and behaviors in the world: All Out, Hold Out, Cop Out and Drop Out,” McCurdy says. To stay in All Out mode, “the secret is to discover what are your personal roadblocks and then to learn and practice techniques to remove them.”
He is the author of two books, “Find A Way: A Guide to Getting the Most Out of Life” and “52 Ways to Find a Way,” a collection of motivational messages, one for each week of the year. The Sturbridge resident has focused on personal achievement and development for more than three decades. A voracious reader and student of life skills, McCurdy believes anyone can build the life they want.
His company, McCurdy Group, was awarded the insurance industry 5 Star Designation in 2003.
