Mohegan Sun Launches New Job and Vendor Series on Career and Business Opportunities with Mass. Casino Project
Mohegan Sun Massachusetts to host “Working at and Working With Mohegan Sun” event in Sturbridge
WHAT: Thursday, June 27th at Old Sturbridge Village Mohegan Sun Massachusetts will host the Working at and Working with Mohegan Sun event from 6-8 pm. The new series will provide residents, business and community leaders with an overview and detailed information on potential careers and vendor opportunities in the resort gaming industry. During the workshop series, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Mohegan Sun Connecticut employees in a variety of fields who will discuss their careers with the company. Specific careers include table games and slot operations, casino accounting and finance, security, food and beverage, marketing and public relations, casino representatives and hosts, materials management, transportation, engineering, environmental services, human resources, information systems, and hotel sales and marketing.
The event will also feature discussions with current Mohegan Sun vendors who can speak to the gaming operators investment in working with local businesses. Currently, Mohegan Sun spends nearly $500 million dollars annually in goods and services from local vendors near its Connecticut and Pennsylvania facilities.
