Got Employee Training Needs?

The Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program (WTFP) provides money to Massachusetts businesses for employee training and development.

Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM) will hold workshops to familiarize employers with the process for accessing Workforce Training Fund grants and creating a competitive application.

Workshops will cover the following topics:

• Developing a grant application, including recommended attachments to the application, and required supplementary documents;
• Training plan development, including alignment with business needs and demonstrating a return on investment for both the employer and employees;
• Training budget planning;
• Balancing grant funds requested and matching expenses;
• Defining a key business goal and success measurements;
• Developing a checklist for information you'll need to collect.

Who Should Attend

Individuals with responsibility for workforce training and development—owners and CEOs, operations managers, HR managers, training directors from employers of all sizes—as well as anyone who might be involved in preparing a grant application.
