In April, Jacob Edwards Library and three published authors presented Common Threads as part of a state-wide celebration of poetry. The event was very successful and engaging. Aaron Packard, violinist with the New Britain Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Jacob Edwards Library in Southbridge on Thursday, May 26th, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Packard will play some of his favorite pieces of classical music for violin during the performance, in the Reading Room.

Artists John Ferrara, Jean Murphy and Sue Starkey will exhibit Cut Paper Technique during the month of May, in the main hall. It is a show with a difference - Cut Paper Technique is a new development. The Jacob Edwards Library is pleased to present this first public showing of these works.
