Until the June 1 tornado, Hollow Brook Farm was also a venue for sleigh rides and a Christmas shop, plus used its horses to pull wedding coaches in warmer weather. The farm's situation was detailed in several Telegram & Gazette Stories, with the sleighs and carriages gone, barns blown away, shop critically damaged and some home damage as well. The spirit of giving is alive and well at North Brookfield Savings Bank as preparations are made for their Annual Holiday Toy Drive. Chamber Member Chris Chabot and his family had a devastating fire at their home on Saturday evening at the height of the storm. Chris is an employee of Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center. He and his wife have two young children. They've lost nearly everything.
