The Verizon Pioneers, in partnership with the Verizon Foundation and New Hope Inc., cordially invites you to a special event on Wednesday, November 30th, 2011.
Thanks to the Verizon Foundation and Pioneers, this complimentary breakfast meeting will provide you with tools and information needed to address the complex issue of domestic violence and your workplace. Included in this
event will be a screening of "Telling Amy's Story", a documentary about a Verizon employee's experience with domestic violence. You will receive a copy of this documentary to share with others at your company.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion that will outline the impact of domestic violence in the workplace, and provide tools for how your corporation can assist employees affected by domestic violence. Special attention will be given to issues of safety and productivity, for both the individual employee and the workplace as a whole.
If you would like to attend this event, please register at
no later than November 15, 2011, as attendance is
limited. Please feel free to forward this invitation to others in your corporation, such as Human Resource professionals.
We look forward to your participation in this event.
