Carpenter Rock Hike 9:00-10:30am
Let’s meet at the Nature Center and take the climb up to Carpenter Rock. The view from top will be well worth the adventure of trudging up the steep hills! Look for clues along the way of the affects of nature has affected the trail, and compare and contrast how Wells State Park looks today compared to 200 years ago! Meet at the Nature Center. Bug spray, sunscreen, and water, is highly recommended. This program is geared for all ages.
Walk…A lot…Here… 3:00-3:30pm
at Wells State Park’s on one of the trails. Wells State Park has over 10 miles of trails; what a great place to get your daily walk in! Meet a Park Interpreter at the entrance of Mill Pond Trail on our Healthy Heart Trail. This 30 minute walk you will also learn simple ways to be more fit if you don’t have the time to walk every day! Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes; bring water and insect repellant if you choose. Friendly pets welcome on a leash.
