Event Description

10:30-11:30am Historical Walkers Come join a Park Interpreter to learn more about the history of Wells State Park. Did you know that Native Americans roamed this area, and the Walker family also had homes here? Meet at the Nature Center to learn about the timeline and the people that lived here. Don’t forget to bring bug spray and water. This program is geared for all ages.

2:00-3:00pm Walk…A lot…Here… at Wells State Park on one of the trails. Wells State Park has over 10 miles of trails; what a great place to get your daily walk in! Meet a Park Interpreter at the entrance of Mill Pond Trail on our Healthy Heart Trail. This 30 minute walk you will also learn simple ways to be more fit if you don’t have the time to walk every day! Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes; bring water and insect repellant if you choose. Friendly pets welcome on a leash.
