Event Description

2:00-3:00: Kidleidoscope Kids Come join a Park Interpreter at the Nature Center for a program geared for children aged 3-6 with parent/guardian. Siblings are encouraged to come. Learn about the nature at Wells State Park by playing a game, reading a story book, and completing a simple arts and craft session.

5:00-6:00 Junior Rangers Gain more experience about nature that is found here at Well State Park. Program will include a hands on activity from the Junior Ranger Handbook. After completely activities in the book you can bring it back to the ranger and receive a patch! This program is open to kids from 8 to 12 years of age.

8:00-9:30 Night Woods at Wells Meet at the Nature Center around dusk to explore Wells State Park at night. See how much your sight is limited, and how your other senses kick in! Maybe if we’re lucky we will even get to hear some creatures. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes, and remember to bring bug spray, and water! This program is for all ages.
