14th Star Brewing Pint Night at The Duck, September 20 at 6:30pm
Hailing from Historic St. Albans, VT, 14th Star is a veteran-owned and conceived craft brewery on a mission to brew high-quality beer while enriching the local community. The business plan for 14th Star Brewery was originally drafted on the back of a battle notebook by Steve Gagner while serving our country on the battlefields of Afghanistan. Upon returning home to Vermont from deployment, 14th Star founders Steve, and his best friend and fellow soldier Matt Kehaya, worked to refine their plans to make their dream of 14th Star Brewing Company a reality in 2012.
During November of 2014, they moved to their current location with a 30 barrel capacity brewery and tap room where they now produce thousands of barrels each year. They have also added canning capacity and their brews can be found on sale throughout New England. 14th Star brews a wide variety of brews with something for everyone. Whether it is using the freshest local ingredients possible or finding new and innovative ways to brew, they impart military precision and creativity into every batch of 14th Star beer.
