The story of Dogfish Head began in June of 1995 when Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats was opened in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. They began bottling their Shelter Pale Ale in 1996 and by 1999 they were up to five year–round bottled brands in about a dozen states. By 2002 they outgrew their original brewery and moved their entire production into a 100,000-square-foot converted cannery in Milton, Delaware. Thanks to all their dedicated employees and customers, Dogfish Head continues to grow! They are now up to nearly 20 styles of beer sold in more than 25 states and a half-dozen kinds of hand-crafted spirits. Dogfish Head’s idea in the beginning was to bring original beer, original food, and original music to the area. Come to think of it, that sounds a lot like the daily mission of The Duck minus the brewing.
Working directly with Dogfish Head, Chef Nick has developed a terrific menu that pairs his inventive cuisine with five of Dogfish’s exceptional brews. The cost is $48 per person. These events are limited and sell out quickly so make your reservation today by calling 508-347-2321.
