Emilia-Romagna in Northern Italy is today affectionately known as the legendary “breadbasket” of Italy! Most noteworthy of the region is prosciutto di parma, aceto balsamico (balsamic vinegar), parmigiano-reggiano, and an enormous variety of fresh, hand-made, stuffed pastas. What a better way to begin our tour through the regions of Italy with many of the essentials we come to know as the building blocks for many great Italian meals. Chef Rico will combine the best ingredients from the Emilia-Romagna region and will show you how to create these wonderfully inspired dishes at home.
