Event Description

Making messages that matter is CBA’s May 25 focus

WHAT: Community Business Associates speaker Michael Donnolly

WHERE: Oliver Wight Tavern, Old Sturbridge Village

WHEN: 7:15 a.m., May 25, 2012

STURBRIDGE — After focusing on confident communication last month, Community Business Associates moves on to crafting messages with impact with its Friday, May 25 speaker. Michael Donnolly will guide listeners to answer the question “So what?” before their contacts even have time to wonder.

He will tailor his comprehensive program entitled, “So What? How To Communicate What Really Matters To Your Audience” to a fast-paced morning meeting at the Oliver Wight Tavern at Old Sturbridge Village, beginning at 7:15 a.m. Points he’ll cover include:

  • Why it’s important to answer the “What do you do?” question so that the other person really understands what you can do for them
  • How to customize your message based on your target market
  • What to say and when to say it in your own authentic style

Mr. Donnolly works with financial professionals across New England in the Independent Planners Channel. His expertise in the areas of public speaking, interviewing, referral strategies and sales includes more than 12 years of experience in both the investment and life insurance industries. Clients utilize his services through workshops and staff training programs.

Community Business Associates meetings also offer business and professional visitors avenues to fruitful business contacts. Guests may attend at no charge. Meetings run from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. and include community news insights, focus topics and guest presentations. CBA is a networking program of the Central Mass South Chamber of Commerce.
