Event Description

From the Roxbury Fells to the Eastward Vale: A Journey Through Woodstock, 1686-2011 is a publication of the Woodstock Historical Society, in celebration of the 325th Anniversary of this rural Connecticut community. Copies of this beautifully illustrated publication will be available for purchase after the event and for signing by the author. Join Cheryl Wakely as she presents the overview on how this mammoth publication came to be as a result of arduous committee work over the past couple of years. Ms Wakely is the library director at Marianapolis Preparatory School.

A Special 325th Anniversary Publication approximately 300 pages, black & white, hardcover with color dust jacket (see illustration: Bowen Cottage Farm, by J.J. Sawyer Courtesy of Historic New England). This book is a companion to an exhibit that is on display at the Palmer Hall, Woodstock.
