There are approximately two and a half million Breast Cancer Survivors in the United States.
The chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer some time during her life is about 1 in 8. About 2,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer in men (Gynecomastia) will be diagnosed this year.
Harrington HealthCare is proud to be part of the fight against breast cancer. For decades, our staff has dedicated themselves to advanced patient care within South Central Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut.
We invite you to walk for a friend, neighbor, husband, wife, mother, brother or any loved one who has suffered or is currently fighting a courageous battle against breast cancer on Sunday, October 2 at the Harrington HealthCare at Hubbard Campus, 340 Thompson Road in Webster. The walk begins at 10 a.m.
Complete the form at this website to sign up for the Breast Cancer Walk. Registration forms should be received no later than Friday, September 23. This year, there is no upfront pre-registration fee required. We are asking each participant to collect donations from sponsors. The day of the walk, if your donations total $50 or greater, no further action is necessary. If you are unable to collect donations or have collected less than $50, we will ask a $10 minimum donation fee be given, as well.
